BACCALAUREATE SERVICE

November 23, 2006, The 17th Annual Baccalaureate Service sponsored by the E.L. Twine Club was held on Thanksgiving morning.  Three recent high school graduates who are now Freshmen in college were recognized as well as six recent middle school graduates who are now Freshmen in high school.  This year's guest speaker was Jasmine Powell, a 25-year old poet, musician and playwright from Naperville.  Jasmine enlightened and inspired the graduates and the attendees with her motivational speech on "A Real Friend."  She encouraged each of us to find a real friend in Jesus because He will never leave us nor will He forsake us.  We can always count on Jesus!Congratulations to all of Friendship's graduates!
