CHRISTIAN YOUTH MINISTRY

The Christian Youth Ministry of Friendship Baptist Church has been revitalized to encourage more youth and their parents to actively participate in more structured, consistent and purposeful events.  Under the leadership of Pastor Reginald E. Bachus, Rev. Marcus Owens and Rev. Reginald L. Bachus have developed a purpose statement and calendar with input from the youth.  The new calendar begins in November 2009.

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT

 

  The Friendship Baptist Church Youth Ministry is committed to:

  • Helping the youth discover their PURPOSE and potential

  • Creating WORSHIP opportunities and lifestyles

  • Developing DISCIPLES of Jesus by teaching the Word in an interesting and relevant way

  • Facilitating healthy FELLOWSHIP opportunities inside and outside of the church

  • Developing a mindset for MINISTRY through service

  • Encouraging EVANGELISM through teaching and events
