Theme: Different Day- Same Message

Scripture John 3:16

Three different classes will be offered:  Classes are 1 ½ hours each session

Class 1- Social Media and JESUS- Scriptures: 1 Chronicles 12:32 and John 3:16

This class is designed for Young Adults. We will learn what role modern technology plays in our witness for Christ.  Yes, let’s examine how text, tweets, twitter, face book, and e-mails can be used as an avenue for reaching the lost.   We must be like the Sons of Issachar and have an understanding of the times in which we live, so that we may be effective in our witness for the Lord.  That we may learn how to carry the same message of Jesus and His love but through ways that can reach the people who are in desperate need of a Savior.

Class 2- Real Men Fish- Scriptures:  Matthew 4:18-20 and John 3:16

Some men love to fish!  Fishing is relaxing, calming and a stress reliever.  But Jesus came on the scene and called 4 men who were fisherman by trade, to become “fisher of men”.  He called ordinary men just like you.  This class is designed to teach men how to witness effectively.  What kind of bait will you need?  What will reel lost souls in?  The good thing about it, Jesus will do the training all you have to do is follow Him.

Class 3- Women, Caring for the Lost-  Scriptures : Luke 15 and John 3:16

Many churches think they are growing because new people are coming in the front door, but they have not realized that they or others are leaving through the back! This class is designed to examine why people leave the church and what can the church do about it.  Using the parables of “The Lost Sheep”, “The Lost Coin” and the “Lost Son” as recorded in Luke 15; we will discuss how people end up leaving the church (becoming lost).  Then we will examine ways in which we can close the back door and keep newly converts in the Christian fold.
